As some of you may know, I recently donated some gifts to a raffle fundraiser for Mummy’s Wish. Mummy’s Wish is a charity supporting mothers diagnosed with cancer, while either pregnant or already with young children. I think they’re a fantastic organisation and deserve all the support we can give.
Anyhow, I received an email today from Mummy’s Wish with an invitation to attend a High Tea by High Societea – it sounds gorgeous, I love high teas, they’re so old-fashioned and girly.
They’re being held on 7 November at Mt Gravatt Showgrounds, and 21 November at Northgate Hall – you can view all the details and book tickets here.
- A glass of Pimms or fruit punch (additional glasses of champagne will be available for sale on the day)
- A delightful selection of sweet and savoury treats
- Tea and coffee
- All served on high tea stands and the fine china collection from High Societea
Plus, there’ll also be raffles and prizes to be won on the day.
Sounds lovely, and even better that it’s for a great cause – I wish I was in the Brisbane area so I could go!
